How are the tattoos applied?

Tattoos are applied with airbrush at low air pressure.

What types of paint are used?
We offer two choices: water soluble paint and waterproof ink.

Are these safe for skin?
Yes, all paints and inks are made from materials that have been approved as makeup by the FDA.

How long do they last?
Paint can last 1-3 days, up to two weeks, depending on paint used and skin type and care given to tattoo after application.

Can they be removed?
Yes, water soluble paints are easily removed with soap and water. Waterproof inks come off with baby oil or rubbing alcohol and a bit of rubbing.

How long does it take to apply?
One artist can produce between 40 and 60 high quality tattoos per hour. We recommend multiple artists for large events.

Will they last at a pool party?
Yes, we offer waterproof inks.

Do you use multiple colors?
Yes, Gini typically has 6-12 airbrush guns loaded and ready. With layering, color choices are virtually unlimited.

Can I do anything to preserve the tattoo?
Yes-placement is key to longevity. Avoid sweaty areas like lower back, face and neck.

What is the best place for tattoos?
For longevity, place tattoos on typically dry areas like the forearm and calf.

How many designs are available?
Gini’s airbrush has over 300 unique designs. We make custom designs, too. Got a company logo? We can replicate it. We usually bring 80-100 designs for private events.

How much space does Gini need to work the magic?
Gini’s airbrush stand and one artist requires only about 6’ x 6’.

Is electricity needed?
No-we can use an electric compressor or CO-2. The results are the same either way.

How long does it take to set up and tear down?
It’s simple-no more than 20-30 minutes set up and tear down.
